MIRACLES The Dunamis of God

Miracles: The Dunamis Power of God Part 2

“He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”

Galatians 3:5 (KJV)

Miracles are not random events; they follow divine protocols. Throughout Scripture, we see that the atmosphere of the miraculous can be recreated through faith, obedience, and reverence for God. Where these divine patterns are honoured, the dunamis (miracle-working) power of God flows freely.

  1. Heralding the Goodness of God

One of the key ways to set the stage for miracles is to declare the goodness of God. Speaking of His works, magnifying His faithfulness, and remembering what He has done stirs faith in the hearts of believers.

God’s goodness is a statement of fact and an eternal truth. Even while Jesus(God in flesh) was on earth, he was known for doing good and healing all who were oppressed.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”Acts 10:38 (KJV)

Jesus didn’t perform a few miracles here and there. The Bible says there were many more miracles than what’s recorded. This is to show us the magnitude of God’s goodness.

“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.” “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”John 20:30-31 (KJV)

From turning water to wine, to feeding multitudes with a boy’s lunch, to restoring sight to blind Bartimaeus—Jesus met every single need brought to Him.

  1. Remember: Salvation Is the Greatest Miracle

The greatest miracle of all time is not physical healing or supernatural provision. It is the salvation of the soul. If God gave us Jesus, there is nothing else He would withhold.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” – Romans 8:32 (KJV)

We don’t just admire miracles—we carry the miracle-working power within us because of Christ’s resurrection. The believer should pray to come into the full understanding of what God has deposited in our hearts.

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling… and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead.” Ephesians 1:18-20 (KJV)

This power isn’t distant. It’s inside every believer: we died and have been raised together with Christ to sit above all things.

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)

  1. Obedience Unlocks Miracles

How does God do miracles? Through obedience. Obeying divine instructions creates an opening for the demonstration of God’s power. When the servants at the wedding in Canaan obeyed Jesus’ unusual instruction to fill pots with water, it became wine.

“Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.” – John 2:7 (KJV)

Every recorded miracle in Scripture was preceded by a word from God and someone’s willingness to act on it. Obedience positions us for breakthrough.

  1. What Stops the Flow of Miracles?
Dishonour

The miraculous is hindered when God or His servants are treated with contempt or familiarity. Even Jesus, full of power and compassion, could do little in an atmosphere of unbelief and dishonour.

“And they were offended at him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country… And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.” – Mark 6:3-5 (KJV)

When we dishonour the vessel God chooses to use, we shut down the flow of the miraculous. Faith honours God. Honour sets the tone for heaven to invade earth.

Conclusion: The Power Still Flows

Aligning with God’s Word, trusting His character, and honouring His presence makes his power flow.

God has given us a blueprint. Let us follow the protocols of the miraculous, walk in obedience, speak boldly of His goodness, and remain ever expectant.

The same Jesus who healed, fed, saved, and delivered is alive—and He is still working miracles.
