“With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” – Mark 10:27 (KJV)
In a world ruled by logic and reason, miracles can seem like a disruption because they are. But here’s a powerful truth: miracles are not accidents. They may defy the laws of nature, but they do not lack divine order. Miracles are governed—not by human systems, but by heavenly protocols.
Principles vs. Protocols
Principles are universal laws or systems for daily life—like sowing and reaping or cause and effect. These operate consistently in both natural and spiritual realms.
But miracles go beyond principles. They are interventions—where God superimposes His power upon earthly limitations. They are not produced by logic but by divine alignment. This is where protocols come in.
What Are Protocols?
Protocols are kingdom behaviours, the standard operations within the domain of a King. As believers, we have been translated into the Kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13), and this Kingdom has its own set of protocols that govern the supernatural.
Awareness of these protocols isn’t just theological—it’s practical. Awareness is the first key to participation. If we want to consistently see God’s power in our lives, we must understand and apply these protocols.
- Positional Protocol
When you came into Christ, you changed realms. You were made a representative of heaven on earth. That position is powerful.
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…” – 2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)
In this Kingdom, when an ambassador speaks, the kingdom they represent backs their words. As a believer, you speak from a throne-backed position. Kingdoms that were defeated by Christ—sickness, sin, lack, and death—have no authority to stand against you when you speak with kingdom authority.
“and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,” – Ephesians 1:19-22 KJV
- Protocol of Words
Words are not just communication in the Kingdom, they are creative force. Jesus demonstrated this in the most unexpected way by speaking to a tree:
“And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” – Mark 11:14 (KJV)
The result?
“The fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away… whosoever shall say unto this mountain… and shall not doubt in his heart… he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Mark 11:21, 23 (KJV)
Training and consistency is required for a believer to effectively utilize this protocol.. You don’t get results by being silent, the results come when you speak boldly and in faith. Miracles respond to the spoken Word.
- Protocol of Love and Forgiveness
Miracles flow where love abounds. Unforgiveness and bitterness interrupt the flow of the supernatural.
“And when ye stand praying, forgive… But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father… forgive your trespasses.”
Mark 11:25-26 (KJV)
Love is not optional, it’s foundational for a believer. Walking in love keeps your spiritual atmosphere clear and your faith effective. Miracles require a heart free from offense.
“Faith worketh by love.”
Galatians 5:6 (KJV)
- Protocol of Honour
Honour is a spiritual accelerator. Wherever there is honour, there is access. And wherever honour is absent, even the power of God is restricted.
Jesus faced this in His own hometown:
“And he could there do no mighty work… because of their unbelief.”
Mark 6:5-6 (KJV)
Honouring God, His Word, and His servants sets the stage for supernatural encounters.
Honour your parents:
“Honour thy father and mother… that it may be well with thee…”
Ephesians 6:2-3 (KJV)
Honour your spiritual leaders:
“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour…”
1 Timothy 5:17 (KJV)
Honour is not flattery, it’s recognition of divine placement. Where there is honour, miracles follow.
Are You Positioned for the Miraculous?
Miracles are not earned. They are not manipulated. But they are accessed through Kingdom alignment.
- Know your position in Christ.
- Train your words to agree with the Word.
- Walk in love and forgiveness.
- Live a life of honour—toward God, His people, and His structures.
Miracles are God’s response to divine order, not chaos. And as we yield to the protocols of the Kingdom, we create an environment where the supernatural becomes natural.
